Correction
Imagine a world where you can’t progress despite your best efforts to push forward.Award winning contemporary dance company VerTeDance have created a beautifully poignant piece about our lack of freedom, reclusion and our power to make decisions. The cast weaves around their own shadows whilst a live modern minimalist soundtrack by Clarinet Factory builds a fluid tension.
Reflexes, slants and curvatures; pushing off, tipping and falling – every imbalance is corrected and brought back to equilibrium. With theatrics, choreographic moments and subtle humor, Correction shows that the attainment of freedom often goes hand in hand with loss. But above all, it shows that lack of freedom to decide can also result in comfort, relief, familiarity and devotion – even happiness.

Havelka, Jiří
Jiří Havelka is a theater director, actor, co-founder and moderator of Óčko television. He was born on June 17, 1980 on the Czech-Moravian border, in Jihlava. He lived with his own father in his five years, so he was brought up in a family with the same women. With my mom and two sisters. He claims he is very choleric and he does not like to admit mistakes. Perhaps it is the belief that it is pushing him forward.
He studied at the grammar school in Jihlava until his 17 years of age, where he already participated in the foundation of the HOBIT theater association. After graduation he studied at DAMU in Prague, directing department. During his studies, he began to play and direct on a small stage the Ypsilon Studio in Spalena Street, where he still works today.
At the moment he is also a member of the cabaret theater VOSTO5, which is known for promoting open forms of author's productions. And, of course, improvisation in which there is no competition. A great success, for example, is their Standard Cabaret.
As a director he also works at the Dejvicke Theater and at the DISK Theater. He also directs the author's games (1203 or Unsatisfied, Man, Try it !, Drama in Brief, Nadsamec Jarry, Black Hole, and more). He co-organized the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival and organizes Festival Cute Drama.
He is co-founder of the Óčko TV station, where he is the creator and moderator of the improvisation skeptic program Barage. In 2007 he won the Alfred Radok Award as the talent of the year.
He is a very charismatic, talented man with incredible fantasy. It is visible and felt that what he does loves every piece of his soul. He puts a piece of himself in everything, and it is unpaid today.

Clarinet Factory
Imagine a musical workshop or lab to give you a bit of clarinet art, classical music education, a bit of ethno, jazz, and let's say minimalism. You add your taste to improvise, buy the latest electronics and technology, invite interesting guests and start exploring, creating and mainly communicating with listeners. From the environments you create, then you'll find a unique genre that can have a lot of things in common with the established crossover term, but you can even more freely express yourself as "music without borders".
