Passions - Baroque Orchestra of Montauban:
“the intention of the Music is not only to like Hearing, but to express the Feelings, to strike Imagination, to affect the Spirit and to order Passions. “(Geminiani, 1751).
Created by the flutist with nozzle Jean-Marc Andrieu in 1986, Passions – Baroque Orchestra of Montauban, it celebrated in 2011 its 25 years. This whole with variable geometry specialized in practice in the instruments of time. Its artistic approach reconciles two principles: the respect of the old techniques of game and the dynamic interpretation of the musical speech.
The repertoire of Passions offers a large variety, energy of the instrumental small formations of room to the large oratorios. Jean-Marc Andrieu works on a tour of regional heritage (Toulouse, Dukes of Pivot, Montauban). The Orchestra Passions was invited by the Embassy from France to Rome with the Farnèse Palace and occurred in Spain (Murcie, Santander, Bilbao, Valence, Saragossa), in Switzerland, in Hungary, in Fès in Morocco, like Amsterdam and Utrecht in the Netherlands.
Jean-Marc Andrieu:
He begins its musical studies with the National Academy from Region of Toulouse where he quickly obtains the first prices of, chamber music recorder and musical theory. Continuing studies of musicology, he is impassioned for the old music and improves in the game of the recorder and interpretation with the Sweelinck Academy of Amsterdam near the largest world specialists. He is titular training certificates of recorder, of direction of chorus and director of academy. Since 1991 he is Director of the Academy of Montauban.
Arnaud SCHULZ: Light and Control. Formed at the Professional Training centre of the Technicians of Show (CFPTS) with Bagnolet, he begins its career with the Seedbed Operated in Paris. Since 2005 he works in close collaboration with Cie de James Carlès taking part in the creation of Dance with the god, of Dance of the spirit, Jazz.com, TamTam and Coupé Décalé Act I and II. The research of environment “right”, the obvious report which must exist between work and the light, are the fruit of multiple, varied and diversified experiments. Its experiments in various fields (exhibitions with the Grand Palais, in the City of Space…, event-driven for Airbus, Pierre Fabre, Danone…, short-film, video clip, publicity) and its curiosity lead it to use all the available resources to create environments of light, in particular the automated or brought under control projectors.
Elise PERRIER: Plastician and video maker. After studies of visual arts, she becomes video maker because it is an alive medium, in perpetual movement, development of the project to the catch of sight to the assembly. To conceive and carry out videos, to technically put them in scene within shows of dance, theatre or musical concerts are a single experiment each time where it is very enriching to work in liaison with all the people present on a joint project. Its universe is sometimes near to dreamed and strange proposing the sensitive aspect of the things of the world, a videographic “psyche” like as many demonstrations conscious and unconscious of the personality and human intellect. This place where the deterioration of time is possible, where there exists a differed tempo. A state of consciousness briefly deteriorated, one moment when the spirit seems to be elsewhere. Place where the thought starts to manufacture chimerical or unrealizable things.
