Corps in situ

Corps in situ, a collaborative work combining dance with Denis Plassard and video with Jean-Camille Goimard.

The aim of this choreographic project is to enable each of the people we support to develop and express their creative potential, with a view to enhancing their self-esteem and breaking down barriers, both on an intimate level and in society as a whole. The aim is to turn ‘blocked bodies’ into ‘free bodies’.

Plassard, Denis

After training in classical and contemporary dance at the CNSMD in Lyon and a brief career as a performer (Josette Baïz), Denis Plassard created his first solo Propos in 1990, which gave its name to the company he founded the following year. He was awarded the D.E. as a teacher of contemporary dance in 1991. He has been choreographer and dancer with Cie Propos for over 30 years.

Over the years with the company, he has built up a vast repertoire of non-mainstream shows that combine acting, text and humour. Alongside these stage adventures, Denis Plassard has developed original artistic projects involving photography (Hors Sol, photo novels), sound design (audioguides, audio-guided warm-ups, indoor radio guidance, etc.) and acting (La clinique du docteur D).

Since the beginning of the Cie Propos adventure, he has nurtured a passion for transmission and the invention of processes for working with audiences, with the idea of sharing a dance that is accessible to all.

He is regularly invited by other theatres (CDN de Valence, Théâtre Craie, Turak, Raskine & Cie), circus companies (Virevolt, CNAC, Rasposo), music companies (Ensemble Boréades) and dance companies (Käfig, Panthera Ballet Kazan Russia).

Goimard, Jean-Camille

Jean-Camille Goimard entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (CNSMDL) in 2006 to study contemporary dance. There he explored the repertory of Odile Duboc, Michel Kelemenis and Pina Bausch, while taking part in a number of creations with choreographers Julien Monty and Yan Raballand. Since graduating in 2009, he has worked mainly with Yan Raballand, while developing his own creations within his company Au delà du bleu, founded in 2012. With a passion for board sports, he taught himself video production and, in 2016, obtained his drone pilot diploma. That same year, he co-founded the audiovisual production company ADDB Production (photography, video, aerial images) with photographer Guillaume Ducreux. In recent years, he has worked as a choreographer and video artist with directors Anne Courel and Claire Truche. He is currently working as a director on the creations of choreographer Rachid Ouramdane: Corps Extrêmes (2021) and Contre Nature (2024). He has also directed numerous videos for dance, theatre and music companies (Cie Contrepoint, Le Grand Jeté, Cassandre, Ariadne, Épiderme, Propos, Traversant 3, Tactus, Fenix, Collectif AR, Trio SR9, Spirito, Rachid Ouramdane...).
