Erase-E(x), parts 1, 2, 3
Inspired by the painting "Erased De Kooning Drawing" (1953) in which Robert Rauschenberg erased a drawing of Willem De Kooning and in doing so made it substantially his own, Joji Inc has imagine ERASE-E(X), a multi parts project in which several choreographers are invited to erase and recreate the preceding one.
It stars with a dance material provided by A.T de Keersmaeker. The Wooster Group of New York erases this prologue. Then is erased by A.T de Keersmaeker who is erased by Isabella Soupart who is erased by the Video performer Kurt D'Hasealeer etc.
Part 1 : The form of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker dance is erased by The Wooster Group in stages as each choreographic gesture is infused with the psychological content of Godard's "modern women", capricious, royal, mysterious.
Part 2 : Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker takes back all the Wooster Group's material, erases any psychological content to create a virtuoso piece danced to the Indian percussion music of Umayalpuram Sivaraman, and Dolly Parton ' s"Jolene".
Part 3 : Isabella Soupart deletes the second part and creates a piece between theater and dance. A duo/duel with a touch a cruel thriller. A feeling of emergency. Of a man facing a woman he thinks he recognises. a complex story slowly revealed itself. Physical and rhythmical tainted of a laced cinematographic naturalism with humour and drama. It is the deconstruction of the text and movement that gushes with its entire force into this direction.

Saunier, Johanne
Johanne Saunier, after dancing more then ten years in the ROSAS company directed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker founded in 1998 JOJI INC with Jim Clayburgh; this scenographic/choreographic partnership led to many performances.
In 2000, she won the Bagnolet choreography award with Final Scene. « Erase-E(X) » a collaborative work with artists such as The Wooster Group from New York, Anne Teresa de Keesmaeker, Georges Aperghis composer, and a video artist Kurt d'Haeseleer, toured for over 4 years. IM-agined (2007) in collaboration with the textile designer Anke Loh, is exploring the Lumalive technology created by Philips. Musée en chantier (2010) for voice and movement created with Cécile Goossens is based on Les Récitations by Aperghis. Johanne Saunier performs in contemporary operas by P. Boesmans and Luc Bondy, Guy Cassiers, Georges Aperghis with the Ictus Ensemble and IRCAM, A king, Lear by composer François Sarhan and the Quatuor Diotima, Line of Oblivion with the composer Arturo Fuentes based on the text of Carlos Fuentes.
She choreographs singers for opera: LOLITA (2008) directed by Jim Clayburgh, music by Joshua Fineberg, Machinations from Georges Aperghis directed by the VocalLab, « The man of La Mancha » by with Sybille Wilson, « Carmen » and « l’Incoronazione di Poppea » for the opera de Lille and « La Traviata » with Nathalie Dessay in Aix en Provence, directed by Jean François Sivadier.
Her recents projects are « Luna Park » composed and staged by Georges Aperghis and Modern Dance in collaboration with Mathurin Bolze.

Soupart, Isabelle
Isabella Soupart is based in Brussels, where she develop and perform her work. In 2006/2007 she reached the final of the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative.
After studying graphic arts in Brussels, Isabella Soupart changed directions, inspired by the “new dance” movement. She trained with a number of prominent choreographers, including Trisha Brown, Dominique Duszynski (Pina Bausch), Yoshi Oida, Eric Raaves (Jan Fabre). She came to the public’s notice as an actress in the Dardenne brothers’ film “Le Fils”. She has also appeared in features by Raoul Ruiz, Maria Speth, and others.
In the year 2000, she founded her own company to pursue her unique brand of work which lies at the intersection of many different disciplines - theatre and dance, installation and performance, architecture, moving image and fine arts. Elle a aussi produit plusieurs performances, installations, films-vidéo : « Waves », performance-musique - 2004, « Déambulation », installation performance - 2004, « RED ROOM I », film - 2008 et « RED ROOM II », film - 2009. These eclectic antecedents certainly marked Isabella Soupart whose work is difficult to categorize as it is located on the edge of installation and performance, theater and the visual arts, dance and architecture
